Explore Himalayas started its journey in the year 1987 by Mr. Tsering Wangchuk Shali, and has succeeded in establishing themselves as one of the leading travel companies of the Indian Himalayas that offers an array of services to its guests. Obsessed with the idea of providing a world class travel experience, we were the first ones to introduce Mountain Bike Trips from Leh to Spiti Valley in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, enrooting through the Himalayas. We also organized Jeep trip on the Leh-Manali route when the first circle of tourists were permitted to visit.

We came for family trip ( 06 people with kids ) arrived to explore Himalayas company. 10 days ago trying to get information about traveling in the area and asking for help about our 04 passports which were forgotten in Delhi. We got excellent treatments from all the crew here. Together we build a 10 days program which was perfect for us, very professional and flexible to our family needs. We asked for a comfortable family vehicle, and were escort by a nice driver who drive carefully and very safe, listen to our needs and was very professional as well. We did short trek with our family and the arrangement was very satisfactory. Except for the 10 days program, the company director Mr. Wangchuk Shali helped us to get our passports back (which was lost in Delhi ) and when our child was sick, the program was quickly changed for us until he got better. We went for an expedition to Stok Kangri with Explore Himalayas team in July 2011. Everything was really perfect. Nima, our Guide, was really professional and experienced and knew perfectly the peak as opposed to some other guide from another company which almost lost their customers in the fog while climbing!! The Food was amazing and all the staff were friendly and careful all the time.
